The police were alerted to the scene by the public who observed the brawl.
The man was found lying on the ground apparently lifeless. He was taken to hospital where he was confirmed dead, says Magnus Lefèvre, duty officer at the police.
The incident is being investigated as suspected murder. Currently, no one has been arrested in the case, but according to police information, several suspected individuals had been in a fight with the now deceased man.
Is there any gang connection?
There is nothing to suggest that as it looks now. It's nothing we've found in the investigation so far, says Lefèvre.
The area has been cordoned off and technicians are working at the scene.
