Person rescued after falling through ice taken to hospital

The alarm about the incident came at 3:20 p.m. on Wednesday, reported Värnamo Nyheter.

Passersby raised the alarm after hearing someone calling for help, the rescue service's command operator tells TT.

The person in distress was pulled out of the water by private individuals.

The person has been taken to hospital. The extent of their injuries is unknown.
