The 25-year-old woman who had been missing since Boxing Day was found dead on Saturday evening.
Two people were arrested and detained as suspects in the investigation. One is suspected of murder on probable grounds, while the other was reasonably suspected, at a lower level of suspicion, of kidnapping.
The person who was arrested for kidnapping has been released "because there is now no reason to assume that the person has committed a crime," the Prosecution Authority writes in a press release.
The prosecutor must decide by 12 noon on Tuesday whether to request that the murder suspect be remanded in custody.
