A person has been taken to hospital after a near-drowning incident at Gaddesanna beach outside Vänersborg, according to local media.
The rescue service was alerted to the scene just after 1 pm on Sunday. By then, private individuals had managed to get the person out of the water.
It is unclear how seriously injured the person is.
The person is alive anyway, says Patrik Karlsson, duty officer at the rescue service to GP.
