A person has been found dead in a lake in Falun. According to the police, the person had been in the water for a longer period of time.
The alarm was raised at around 2 pm on Sunday. A private individual had seen a person floating in the water approximately 100 to 150 meters from the shore.
The divers retrieved the person to land, says Henrik Eriksson, alarm commander at the rescue service.
The deceased person, who is an adult, has not been identified. A forensic autopsy may be required to establish the identity, writes the police on their website.
