The person has been taken to hospital. The extent of the injuries is unclear.
The truck will be seized for a routine technical examination because it was involved in a serious accident, says police spokesman Wayne Seretis.
Police are speaking with witnesses and documenting the accident scene. There is no suspicion of a crime.
The alarm was received at 6 p.m. on Tuesday.
