SOS Alarm received the call shortly after 3 p.m.

The car reportedly went off the road and the woman was standing right where it went off, says police spokesman Martin Tysell.

The woman was taken to hospital by air ambulance. She reportedly had chest pains.

It could be a rib injury. She also complained of pelvic pain. The woman was able to speak, but it is unclear how seriously she is injured.

The incident is classified as causing bodily harm and negligence in traffic.
