A man has died after being hit by a bus in Tuve on Hisingen in Gothenburg at around 2:30 pm on Tuesday, the police announce on their website.
The man's relatives have been informed and the incident is being investigated as manslaughter.
The man was taken to hospital after the accident, but at 8:30 pm the police announced that he had died.
How the accident occurred was something the police could not comment on during Tuesday evening.
It's something you have to look into further in the investigation, says the police's press spokesperson Adam Isaksson Samara.
Earlier on Tuesday, the police said that the bus involved would be seized for technical examination.
