The police and rescue services were alerted on Monday to a person lying in the water. At the scene, it was determined that the person was dead.
The cause of death is unknown and police have opened a murder investigation.
"We have been there and carried out investigative measures," police spokesperson Fredrik Svedemyr told the newspaper.
There is no suspect at this time.
