A person has been found dead in the apartment on Södermalm in central Stockholm where a fire broke out on Saturday, the police write on their website.
According to the Stockholm Fire Department, the fire started in the kitchen and barely half an hour after the alarm came in, the fire department announced that the fire was extinguished.
On Saturday, the police reported that two people were injured in the fire, one of whom was taken to hospital by ambulance.
On Sunday morning, the police provided new information that a person had died in the fire. The incident is classified by the police as arson, but there is currently no suspect.
