The fire alarm was received at 3 a.m. on Saturday night.
"It is difficult to say what caused the fire. We do not believe that this fire started by itself," says Martina Gradian.
The dead person has not been identified.
"A forensic examination will be conducted. It could take up to two weeks, but hopefully it will be faster," says Gradian.
"We are still interested in witness statements," she adds.
