A 50-year-old woman and a dog were injured after an apartment in Farsta in southern Stockholm caught fire on Wednesday night.
The alarm came in at 01.30 and when the rescue service arrived, the woman had managed to get out on her own along with her dogs.
It is unclear what condition they were in, but one person required hospital care and was taken to the hospital by ambulance, says Lars Lindberg, operations manager at the rescue center.
The dog received veterinary care.
It is unknown how the fire started, but the extent was limited and it was extinguished within 20 minutes.
