During the evening, Lena Philipsson, A-Teens, Nanne & Bettan, Eva Dahlgren and Carola performed. It all ended with a surprise when Sarah Dawn Finer appeared and took the opportunity to lift Pernilla Wahlgren in her arms.
Wahlgren is now finishing her third year as lead singer. Whether she will stay as long as her predecessor Sanna Nielsen, who led the programme for seven seasons, remains to be seen.
You really have to take it one year at a time, says Wahlgren.
This year's season has been marked by low viewership. In an interview with SVT, executive producer Henrik Stockare said that he does not believe it is due to Pernilla Wahlgren. Instead, he points to the World Cup, which he believes has competed for viewers.
