For several years, the small village of Breivikeidet outside Tromsö in northern Norway has been affected by a very unclean form of littering. Someone throws soda bottles filled with cigarette butts along a stretch of road.

And it's about a lot of bottles that are thrown into nature.

We have picked up 178 bottles this year. Last year, we found around 130, the year before there were 150, says Åshild Synnøve Lingrasmo at a local association in Breivikeidet to Dagbladet.

Previously, the butts have been found in soda bottles of different brands, but in recent years, it's only been Pepsi Max bottles. That's why the culprit has been given the name "Pepsi Max terrorist".

All the bottles are on the same side of the road, which suggests that they are thrown out by someone who comes from the ferry and is on their way to Tromsö, says Åshild Synnøve Lingrasmo.
