The information comes from the X-account "Pentagon Pizza Report", which monitors traffic at pizzerias and other establishments in the area based on open electronic sources.
"Almost all pizzeria restaurants near the Pentagon experience a MASSIVE increase in activity," the account reported about an hour before the first reports of explosions in Tehran came.
Three hours later, it was also noted that a gay bar near the defense headquarters had "unusually little activity for a Thursday evening," which pointed to "a hectic evening at the Pentagon".
