The names of the most recent US military casualties in Jordan and Iraq disappeared from the Pentagon's website on Tuesday. They had been included in the list of casualties from the US operation against Iran "Epic Fury" - a total of 18 dead and 482 wounded, CNN reports.
The US defense headquarters, the Pentagon, said a technical error was behind the change.
On Sunday, the new "Overseas Operations" list had been drawn up, on which the four most recent deaths are now listed, including 207 injured.
The original list has been reduced to 14 dead and 417 injured. Taken together, the two lists bring the number of injured to 624.
The Pentagon has not commented on the adjustment, AP writes.
