It was Pelle Larsson's evening. For the first time this season, the Swedish star got to start on the court when his Miami met Charlotte Hornets.

Larsson scored 17 of the points when he and his teammates crushed the away team with 144–117. He replaced Norman Powell in the starting position after the latter got a strain in the groin.

It's not easy to just step in and be so productive. But that's the kind of pro he is, says Miami's coach Erik Spoelstra about Larsson's performance to Miami Herald after the match.

It was just under 31 minutes of playing time for the Swede during the match, a big step forward for Larsson who in the season's earlier matches only got up to 16 minutes – in total.

The win is Miami's third in a row.
