Patti Smith follows up "Just Kids" from 2010 and "M Train" from 2015 with a new autobiography. In "Angels' Bread", she takes the reader to her childhood after World War II, her teenage years, and to her marriage to her husband Fred "Sonic" Smith.
"Patti Smith's continuation of 'Just Kids' is one of the strongest coming-of-age stories I've read. There's the child's fantasy and ability to create their own magical worlds, but there's also a reality that in its moments requires an unfathomable strength to endure. It's a book about finding one's voice – as an artist as much as a human being", says Håkan Bravinger, publisher at Brombergs, in a press release.
"Angels' Bread" will be published in Swedish translation on November 4.
