Patrick Mahomes, who is currently returning from a cruciate ligament injury, is one of the NFL's big stars with three Super Bowl titles to his credit.
According to NBC Sports, the quarterback has agreed to a contract extension until 2033 with his club, the Kansas City Chiefs.
The deal is said to be worth just over $504 million - almost 4.8 billion Swedish kronor, which is a new NFL record. On average, that means Mahomes earns about $64 million per year, which is also a new record.
