A passenger ship has run aground in the Gothenburg archipelago, reports SVT News West. According to the rescue service, several people on board have sustained minor injuries.
A number of people on board have unfortunately received minor injuries that we are following up on together with the ambulance, says Bosse Florell, alarm and control operator at the rescue service, to SVT.
The incident occurred in Fiskebäck harbor just after 13 when an alarm came in that the passenger boat had run aground.
No one is reported to have ended up in the water. The police are on their way to the scene – but it is unclear why the ship ran aground.
