The police were called to the hospital at 1:45 p.m.
"According to initial information, the situation probably arose due to some form of mishandling in the hospital's lab," the police write on their website.
The hospital writes in a comment that it was a "chemical substance used in laboratory operations, but a limited amount has been stored in a way that makes it potentially dangerous for the person moving it."
At 4 p.m., the police announced that the substance had been taken care of by the bomb squad and destroyed. The cordons were subsequently lifted.
The police have filed a report for endangering others.
