The Speaker Andreas Norlén says in a press release that he is glad that the debate will be broadcast at a time when many have the opportunity to watch.
"We want to give more voters the opportunity to follow the party leader debate live in this way. It is important in our democracy that the party leaders' arguments before the election become known", says Norlén.
The debate starts at 6 pm on January 14 and is broadcast on SVT.
