Since the beginning of 2026, 78 employees have been suspended from their positions, 31 of them on suspicion of sexual assault, he says.
Grégoire was elected mayor of the French capital in February. He has said he was sexually abused in primary school and is now pledging to invest €20 million (around SEK 217 million) to prevent sexual violence during leisure activities.
The investment is intended to lead to better recruitment and training of leisure leaders, clearer channels for reporting alleged abuse, and transparency to parents.
