Earlier this year, a doctor at a hospital called the police after discovering bleeding between the baby's brain and skull. The baby also had an enlarged head, which could have been caused by bleeding.
The parents, who both deny any wrongdoing, were charged with aggravated assault.
Now they are sentenced to probation for causing bodily harm because the district court believes it was not possible to prove that the parents intended to harm the child. They must also pay damages of 115,000 kronor.
