Swedish game publisher Paradox is postponing the launch of its new game "Life by you". This means that the result for the second quarter of the year will be burdened with 208 million kronor, the company writes in a press release.
"We have long been hoping for 'Life by you' and the potential we saw, but in the end it is clear that the game will not be able to meet our expectations. A version that we are satisfied with is too far away, and therefore we are taking the tough decision to postpone the release", says Fredrik Wester, CEO of Paradox, in the press release.
"Going forward, we will be able to do much better, it is obvious that we have work left to do", he continues.
"Life by you" was intended to take on the popular game series "The Sims".
