In a post on social media, the band writes that they need time to process the loss of Osbourne, who they call both a brother and a mentor.

"Ozzy was not just a legend who shaped the very foundation of heavy metal and inspired Pantera from the beginning – he was family", the band writes, which now cancels three concerts and postpones two. So far, they have not announced which dates are affected.

Pantera writes further that their priority now is to honor Ozzy's memory and asks the fans for understanding.

The news of the 76-year-old Osbourne's passing came just a few weeks after Black Sabbath reunited on stage in Birmingham, 20 years after the heavy metal band's last performance.
