The Japanese technology giant Panasonic is to get rid of 10,000 employees, half in Japan and the rest in the rest of the world, within the next year.
The announcement comes in connection with the company releasing a quarterly report whose profit forecast for the coming year did not meet the stock analysts' expectations.
