The former national team star has terminated his contract in the middle of the season.
"To ensure more sustainable operations, it has been necessary to reduce salary costs, and the parties have therefore jointly come to a solution that works for both," the club writes.
Andreas Palicka has recently been reported to be on his way to the German top club Füchse Berlin.
"My time at Kolstad was different than expected. At the same time, I understand the club's challenges and have therefore contributed to a solution that is in the best interests of both parties. I wish Kolstad all the best in the future," says Palicka.
After 17 years in the Swedish national team jersey, the 39-year-old said goodbye following this year's failure in the European Championship.
