Fatal attacks have been reported from Gaza city, Jabalia and Khan Yunis, writes The Times of Israel. According to witness and medical sources to Reuters, Israeli fighter jets and tanks have intensified their attacks against Jabalia and nearby Beit Hanun since last Friday.
A spokesperson for the civil defense in Gaza says to AFP that 11 of the 38 fatalities were killed in a single attack in Jabalia.
The four Israeli soldiers were killed in an explosion in a house booby-trapped on Friday morning. The explosion caused the house to collapse. In addition to the fatalities, five soldiers were injured, reports Jerusalem Post.
