According to the activist group Center for Jewish Nonviolence, the Palestinian village of Susiya in the Masafer Yatta area was attacked by dozens of settlers. Hamdan Ballal, one of the directors of the Oscar-winning "No other land", was not the only one exposed, but is said to have suffered head and stomach injuries.

His colleague, Israeli director Yuval Abraham, writes on X that Hamdan Ballal was then taken away by soldiers from the ambulance where he received treatment for his injuries.

The settlers are said to have destroyed water tanks, stolen security cameras, and smashed car windows. Susiya is Hamdan Ballal's hometown.

The documentary "No other land" is made by both Israeli and Palestinian filmmakers, and shows the consequences of the Israeli settlement policy on the West Bank. It takes place in the village of Masafer Yatta and depicts the destruction of a village, but also the friendship between Palestinian activist Basel Adra and Yuval Abraham.
