The 73-year-old former prime minister has complained of poor health and reportedly lost sight in one eye a year ago.
"We follow the constitution and our legal obligation to protect the life, health and safety of imprisoned persons," the Supreme Court writes.
Former cricket star Khan has been in prison since 2023. He was ousted as prime minister in a no-confidence vote in 2022. Since then, he has been convicted in several trials in cases he believes are politically motivated.
Despite the verdicts, he remains a political powerhouse, and the court warns his supporters not to gather at the hospital and says their decision may be revoked if they try to get in to see Khan.
