A severe heatwave is now sweeping across Central Europe. Temperatures have been just below 40 degrees in Hungary in recent days, and the national weather service has warned of extreme temperatures.
The music festival is described as one of the world's largest for psychedelic trance and attracts tens of thousands of visitors every year.
The music genre developed during the 1990s and has its roots in the Goa scene in India.
According to the programme, the festival was due to end on Monday morning.
