Denmark's pharmaceutical sector saw a decline of 1.1 percent in the fourth quarter. Last fall, Denmark's central bank lowered its growth forecast for Denmark's economy due to lower expectations for the pharmaceutical industry.
In previous quarters, the pharmaceutical sector has contributed to a boost in GDP. For the full year 2025, the Danish economy grew by 2.9 percent.
