After Romain Bardet's win on Saturday, Kévin Vauquelin took a clear victory on Sunday.
Behind came Jonas Abrahamsen, 36 seconds behind Vauquelin. The Norwegian delivered a strong finish and was able to pull away to secure second place.
Third was Frenchman Quentin Pacher, 49 seconds behind Vauquelin.
In the overall standings, favored Slovenian Tadej Pogacar leads, closely followed by Belgian Remco Evenepoel and Danish Jonas Vingegaard.
The second stage, which went between Cesenatico and Bologna, was 199.2 kilometers long.
