Over 200,000 Afghans have left Pakistan since the government resumed large-scale deportations in April, according to Pakistan's Interior Ministry.

Pakistan's goal is for 800,000 Afghans who are in Pakistan and have had their residence permits revoked to leave the country, including some who were born in Pakistan or have lived there for decades.

In April, 135,000 Afghans left Pakistan, in May 67,000, and during the first days of June 3,000, according to the Interior Ministry's figures.

Millions of Afghans have fled to Pakistan from violent conflicts in their homeland over the past decades.
