”We are devastated over the fact that two of our dear colleagues, Ibrahim Eid and Ahmad Abu Hilal have been killed”, ICRC announced on Instagram.
The attack took place on Saturday, according to the committee, which urged for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza.
Hilal was a security guard at a hospital and Eid worked on infrastructural weapon issues, such as problems with mines under and after a conflict.
Intensive attacks
ICRC refrained from accusing any party of being behind the attack. The message came after another day of intensive airstrikes and attacks.

In a raid on Nuseirat in central Gaza, two people were killed. One of the victims was a woman who was seven months pregnant.
According to information from Hamas-governed authorities, a chief within civil defense, Ashraf Abu Nar, was also killed in an attack on his home in Nuseirat. His wife was also killed in the airstrikes.
