The death toll after a building in Karachi in southern Pakistan collapsed has risen to 21, authorities report. Rescue teams have for the second day in a row searched for the dead and survivors on Saturday.
The building had been condemned as unsafe and orders for evacuation had been sent to the residents for three years according to the authorities, but tenants claim they did not receive them.
Residents of the house heard creaking sounds just before the building collapsed at 10 am on Friday in a poor urban area in Karachi.
The rescue efforts continue.
