A total of 100 people have recovered from the Ebola outbreak, the Ministry of Health announced. At least 365 patients are currently being treated in hospitals or in isolation.

The current outbreak of hemorrhagic fever has been caused by the Bundibugyo virus, for which there is no vaccine or treatment.

According to authorities, there may be significantly more unreported cases. More than 35,000 people who have had contact with infected individuals still need to be traced.
