Over 100 people have been slightly injured in connection with a forest fire raging on the outskirts of France's second largest city Marseille, according to the country's interior minister Bruno Retailleau, reports French media.
About 400 people have been evacuated and around a dozen houses have so far been more or less completely destroyed, reports Le Monde.
At present, no deaths have occurred, which is exceptional considering the extent of the fire, says Retailleau according to the newspaper.
