Over 100 have died in extensive flooding in the Democratic Republic of the Congo in recent days, local authorities report.
The flooding follows heavy rainfall over the Södra Kivu province in the eastern part of the central African country.
According to the authorities, at least 104 people have died, many of them children, and the water masses are said to have caused "enormous material damage".
Somalia is also affected by flooding. Nine houses were destroyed and at least seven people died during the night against Saturday in the capital Mogadishu.
Since mid-April, more than 45,000 people have been affected by flooding in Somalia, according to a fresh UN report.
