Wallin has sprained his foot and suffered a fracture under his left eye after last night's match in New York, the newspaper writes. Due to the injuries, the Swede has been grounded and cannot travel home to Sweden for two weeks.

"I'm a little bruised, but otherwise it's okay. It was very tough to lose, it was very sad. But I feel okay, I'll survive," says Wallin.

It was with six seconds left in the match against Sirenko that the 35-year-old was knocked out and then had to be taken to hospital for further examinations.
