Swedish Noah Östlund scored two early goals as Buffalo beat Nashville 5-3 in last night's NHL game.

A little over eight minutes into the game, Östlund scored his first goal, assisted by Swedish teammate Rasmus Dahlin, among others. Less than four minutes later, Östlund scored to make it 2–0. That put Buffalo on a good run they held for the rest of the game.

Swedish forward Filip Forsberg, who plays for Nashville, put in a fine performance despite the defeat. He was involved in all of the team's goals, with two assists and his own goal to make it 2–4.
