The restart of Oskarshamn's nuclear reactor is delayed further.

The reactor has now been out of operation for over half a year for repairs and the restart has been postponed several times due to complicated work.

A new preliminary date for the restart has been set to 31 October, the owner announces to TT. This is a further postponement of two weeks from the previous message.

"The repair work to rectify the defective pipe at Oskarshamn 3 (O3) is in its final stage. Some tasks remain before the plant can be put into operation", writes the owner OKG in a comment.

Oskarshamn's only nuclear reactor is Sweden's largest and has now been out of operation since 29 March due to repairs.
