Oscar Zia pays tribute to his Italian grandfather and the Swedish Olympic team with his own interpretation of the Swedish national anthem.

"Pronti via (Du gamla du fria)" was made in collaboration with producer Simon Hessman, who has worked with international stars such as Drake and Yung Lean.

Oscar Zia describes the song as a tribute to his grandfather, who comes from the Dolomites, and "to all those who have not found their place in the world of sports."

"Therefore, I wanted my version to combine the most powerful elements of the Swedish national anthem with a nostalgic sound from the heyday of Italo disco in the 1980s," says Oscar Zia in a press release, in which he hopes the song will give the Swedish Olympic squad "an Italian confidence."

The song is released on the same day the Olympics open in Italy.
