Residents in Örkelljunga municipality are urged to boil their drinking water and water for cooking, with the exception of residents in Eket where there is a separate pipeline network.
A water sampling has detected bacteria in the municipal drinking water, the municipality writes on its website.
At the earliest on Sunday evening, the municipality will provide information about continued recommendations.
