The French dominance at Solvalla - four straight wins - has been broken. On Sunday afternoon, Allegiant, driven by Örjan Kihlström, was clearly superior.
"I have no fucking words; I broke the TV in the stable," trainer Daniel Redén told TV4.
A new world record was also set: 1:07.1, the fastest time ever recorded in a trotting race.
"I think it was a pretty good effort! Absolutely crazy. It's just completely unreal and completely crazy," said Örjan Kihlström.
