For the second year in a row, the Öresund Bridge set a traffic record in 2025, when more than eight million vehicles crossed the strait.

At the same time, the financial result before value changes was DKK 100 million higher than in 2024.

"Never has bridge traffic been as strong as in 2025," said CEO Linus Eriksson in a press release from the Öresund Bridge.

The traffic increase applies to all traffic segments, but commuting by car over the bridge increased the most, up just over 9 percent in 2024–2025.

Leisure traffic is also increasing, and it is noted that the Danes' desire to travel across the bridge has increased more than the Swedes'.

On the truck side, a previous traffic record from 2022 was broken in 2025. Regional Danish-Swedish truck transports are increasing, while transit traffic to and from Northern Europe decreased slightly.
