Norling, 55, took over ÖSK at the start of this season, after the club managed to save itself from relegation in the Superettan last year by making a desperate appeal for help.
But things have continued to be tough for Örebro on the football pitch. In 26 matches, ÖSK have managed to collect only 25 points and are second-bottom, one point ahead of Brage and Ljungskile, who are in the relegation play-off places.
Former assistant coach Patrik Haginge will take over for the rest of the season.
Rikard Norling has previously won Swedish Championship titles with both Malmö FF and AIK.
