The majority of police officers who participated in the operation after the school shooting at Campus Risbergska in Örebro are back in service, but a few are still on sick leave, says Assistant Regional Police Chief in Bergslagen Niclas Hallgren to P4 Örebro.

It's about the worst possible thing with dead and severely injured people, and there are no police officers who are unaffected by it, we are humans like everyone else. We will have to work with it for a long time ahead, he says.

According to Hallgren, crisis support was provided to affected police officers immediately from the start, a work that is now being developed with support in different forms on both short and long term.
