The Druzhba pipeline, which runs from Russia through Ukraine to Slovakia and Hungary, is down. According to Ukrainian authorities, it was damaged by a Russian attack on the country's energy infrastructure on January 27.
Viktor Orbán writes on Facebook that as long as Kyiv blocks the Druzhba pipeline, Hungary will block the EU's €90 billion loan to Ukraine.
Earlier this week, Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico threatened to stop emergency electricity supplies to Ukraine unless the line was reopened. According to Fico, repair work on the line has been completed.
Slovakia's Minister of Economy Denisa Saková said on Friday that Ukraine had postponed the reopening of the pipeline until February 24.
